George Lazaridis


George Lazaridis’ performances have been characterized as "special enough to be beyond comparison" (BBC Music Magazine, Adrian Jack).
Born in Greece in 1978, G.E.Lazaridis enjoys a flourishing international career that has taken him from USA and Mexico to Europe, Egypt and the Middle East, in some of the most prestigious music festivals and legendary venues worldwide, such as Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, Musikverein, St. Petersburg Philharmonie.
He has performed with the Royal Philharmonic, Hamburg Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic, St. Petersburg Philharmonic under the direction of distinguished conductors like Neville Marriner, Yuri Termikanov, Maxim Shostakovitch. His CD releases have been often selected within the top 50 best releases of the decade by “The Pianist” and ranked amongst the best historical performances, alongside keyboard giants such as Richter and Arrau.
A sought after chamber musician, he has also collaborated with renowned ensembles and soloists such as the Medici Quartet, the Ysaye Quartet, the Vienna Octet, the BT Scottish Ensemble, Leonidas kavakos, Michael Tilson Thomas and many others, including legendary singers Barbara Hendricks and Maria Farandouri.
